Our Pre School team are passionate and dedicated professionals who are determined to make a positive difference to the children in our care.
We are committed to continuous training and our membership of the Preschool Learning Alliance and the National Day Nurseries Association ensure that we are constantly in touch in the field of child education and care.

Jacqui Edwards B Ed (Hons) (Oxon), QTS, EYPS
Pre School Manager
Jacqui joined the setting in 2007 and took over as Manager in 2009. She has overall responsibility for the day to day running of the setting and in particular for Behaviour Management, EAL, Equal Opportunities, and Looked After Children. She also has the role of Keyworker, Designated Person for Safeguarding, SENCO and Coordinator for Language and Communication.
Linda Harvey, DCYPW
Pre School Deputy Manager
Linda joined the setting as a permanent member of staff in 2007 and became Deputy Manager in 2013. She has responsibility for running the setting in the absence of the Manager and has specific responsibility for Health and Safety and Healthy Eating. She also has the role of Keyworker, Deputy Designated Person for Safeguarding and is Maths Coordinator.
Kim Rogers
Senior Early Years Practitioner
Kim joined us in 2018 and as well as being a Keyworker she has responsibility for technology in the setting.
Paula Button, DCYPW
Early Years Practitioner and Assistant SENCO
Paula joined the setting as a permanent member of staff in 2007 and has shared responsibility for developing the Book Corner as well as having the role of Keyworker and Assistant SENCO.
Emilia Chisholm, DCYPW
Senior Early Year Practitioner
Emilia joined the team in September 2020.
Belinda Herring, NNEB
Early Year Practitioner
Belinda joined the setting in 2017 and along with her role of Keyworker she also has particular responsibility for encouraging the children’s involvement outside by involving them in exciting gardening projects.
Lynne Franks, DCYPW
Early Years Practitioner
Lynne joined the setting in 2013 and along with her role as Keyworker has particular responsibilities for looking after the under 3's.
Gemma Alford, NVQ3
Early Year Practitioner
Gemma joined the setting in 2010 and has the role of Keyworker with shared responsibility for our Under 3’s.
Chrystal Harrison, Level 3 CACHE EYE
Early Year Practitioner
Chrystal joined us in 2019 and in February 2020 achieved her Level 3 CACHE EYE. As well as being a Keyworker, Chrystal is also responsible for developing arts and crafts in the setting and coordinating our displays.

Heidi joined us in September 2020.

Lesley Singleton

Lesley is one of the longest serving members of staff who despite retiring in July 2018, still supports the setting on a volunteer basis.

Middleton Cheney Pre School Management Team
The team is led by our four Directors - Kate, Taiba, Paul and Seb who are supported by a management team. They are all volunteers and work hard behind the scenes to ensure the smooth running of the Pre School and ensuring that it has a secure future.
The team manages the Pre School's finances, staff employment, oversees the implementation of polices and supports staff with everyday matters when needed.
Middleton Cheney Pre School is a charity which is run as a limited by guarantee company. It is governed by a volunteers which includes parent representatives. An A.G.M, is held yearly and parents are informed in advance and are encouraged to attend.
