OFSTED Inspection Report

Please find a link to our OFSTED Inspection Report following their visit on the 19th November 2019.

We are one of the first settings to go through under the brand new Inspection Framework which began in September 2019. This is a completely different type of inspection from those which have gone before (our last inspection was January 2014) with Inspectors spending more time observing staff and looking at the quality of teaching which brings us much more in line with Inspections that take place in schools. We feel that this is a good thing and means that standards have quite rightly been raised considerably.  Bearing in mind that we have only been in our new building for two and a half years (we were in our last building for 25+ years) and are still adjusting and evaluating our new systems and procedures, we are absolutely delighted with our judgement of ‘Good’ in all areas. This is what we predicted we would get at this time.

We feel that the inspection was a positive experience, and hope you agree that the report gives a true picture of what its like to be a child at our setting. We have taken on board our action points and are confident that we will quickly be able to bring in improvements in these areas .

A huge thankyou again to all the staff who work so hard on a day to day basis, and to the Directors and Management team for their support . We are immensely proud of our setting, and hope that you will also see this reflected in the report.

As the Inspector left she turned to me and said “Thankyou for having me and all making me feel so welcome, I have had SUCH a lovely day” – we hope that this is the sentiment felt by all the children in our care.

- Jacqui Edwards, Pre School Manager
